The primary audience of the Accelerated Foundations Program are individual contributors. The outcome of the program is more efficient individuals as well as preparing future leaders. The program is also available to supervisors through senior leaders to address leadership development gaps.

Interpersonal Effectiveness & Communications (Connecting with People)

A one-day course that teaches participants how to engage in efficient interpersonal interactions and to be more effective communicators in one-on-one situations and in work teams. Participants are taught how to make temporary modifications in order to get what they want done more quickly as they develop their ability to "connect with people". Course content centers on interpersonal effectiveness, and creating an efficient workforce. Participants learn how others see them compared to how they see themselves and how to get what they want faster by making temporary modifications. Participants complete the Personal Communications Assessment as part of the coursework.

Research:Research and experience have shown that organizations that communicate effectively are more productive, efficient, and successful. In 2005 Watson Wyatt found a strong relationship between communication and a number of measures of organizational performance: Companies with high communication effectiveness had 57%greater total return to shareholders, 19.4% higher market premium, were 4.5 times more likely to have employee engagement, and had 20% lower turnover than companies with low communication effectiveness. It is clear that communicating effectively is not just a soft skill, but one critical to personal and organizational success.

Time Management

Half Day: The productivity of individuals and organizations depend on the ability to effectively plan and manage time. This course provides a practical and proven approach for successful time management. Participants will gain insights about work and life priorities, maintaining a schedule, andreducing distractions and time wasting activities.Expect productivity to increase as employees master time managementin their professional and personal life.

Delivering Value & Results

Half-Day: The Delivering Value & Results is a course that teaches participants how to become more productive and how to master the delivery of high quality, high value output. Participants are taught how to align with organizational work values, manage their time, accept assignments, clarify expectations, and keep commitments. In a phrase, this course is about the discipline of managing one's self in a work setting to deliver consistent value and results.
